Hello,

Hopefully the first week of the Spring semester has been treating you well. I'm reaching out to request your support in sharing the information below regarding our Spring dates for the Career Champions series.

Thank you to the many of you who are already Career Champions! For those who aren't familiar with the program, Career Champions provides opportunities for faculty and staff members to better understand the career development data, resources, and support available on-campus and through SECD.

Through a series of three capacity-building conversations, participants:

  *   Explore University of Arizona data around our graduates' career outcomes.
  *   Gain awareness and comfort using SECD's most current resources.
  *   Learn and utilize best practices in coaching and providing career development support.
  *   Create plans for further integrating career development conversations and activities into your work with students, no matter what role or department you are in.

Faculty and staff who complete this series of 3 trainings receive a certificate of completion and will also receive a placard to display to help students identify them as a faculty or staff member who is equipped to assist them with their career decision making.

This semester, we will be offering our series once each month, and new for Spring, we'll also have a Career Champions half-day intensive in May where participants can complete the full series on one day.
