[Plsfaculty] Hiring Freeze Update/HR Information

Dear Faculty,
I hope this message finds you well. The HR department shared important guidance regarding the current hiring freeze, and I wanted to update you on the situation.
As of now, all job postings are temporarily included in the freeze. I understand that this may raise concerns and impact our ongoing efforts. I am working on all new Job Requests and New Hires with Sonia (HR Gen III CALES) who is working with Sam Gaxiola our Sr. HR Partner.
All new job posts will not be reviewed until after we come back from University Closure and the Holiday Break on January 2nd.

Positions that are 100% grant funded are not impacted by the hiring freeze.



To not disrupt spring semester instruction, planned spring hires of graduate assistants/associates may move forward.
