Dear Colleagues,

1. As mentioned in the Faculty Meeting yesterday, please find attached the CALS Faculty Council first meeting minutes. You can also find in this document, Dean Burgess's answers to questions from Faculty Council members.

2. A request to you all: Dean Burgess (and all Associate Deans) will be providing written answers to questions from CALS Faculty. The questions can be directed to the Dean and/or the Associate Deans on matters of concern to the CALS Faculty. The deadline for members of the Faculty Council to submit questions from their respective unit's Faculty is Wednesday, November 24, 2015. Please email your questions either to me (rpalaniv at email.arizona.edu<mailto:rpalaniv at email.arizona.edu>) or Marc Orbach (orbachmj at email.arizona.edu<mailto:orbachmj at email.arizona.edu>). If anonymity is desired, please place your questions inside a sealed envelope in either of our mail boxes in Forbes.
