[Plsfaculty] University Closure Policy for your Employees

Hello All,

 

The University of Arizona will be closed for the annual "University Closure"
this year from December 24, 2012 to January 1, 2013 reopening on January 2,
2013.   During this time, there are three pre-approved holidays:  December
24th, December 25th, and January 1st.   But, the other days (December 26th,
27th,  28th and 31st ) are part of the Closure.  Therefore, if your
employees are not working, there are options for their payroll hours during
that time.

 

Options for University Closure Hours:

 

.         Work Hours

.         Unpaid Leave

.         Vacation Leave

.         Paid release time

.         Or a combination of the above.

 

Attached is the University policy.  Please discuss this with your employees
prior to the Closure, then inform the appropriate Time Coordinator (Joy,
Laura, Gabe or Renee) the plans for your employees for this time period.

matter.
