The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service Scientific Cooperation Research
Program (SCRP) is officially announcing the 2012 Request for Applications.
The objective of SCRP is to reduce global poverty and hunger by supporting
applied scientific research, extension, or education projects that aim to
address challenges faced by smallholder farmers in emerging economies.  

 

Proposals should focus on addressing agricultural challenges to smallholder
farmers in the following areas:

*	improving agricultural productivity
*	creating sustainable agricultural systems
*	building regional or trade capacities

Please see the attached grant announcement for more details on eligibility
