Subject: DOE EERE eXCHANGE

Sponsored Projects has recently learned of a new U.S. Department of Energy
online application portal called EERE eXCHANGE.  The website is:
https://eere-exchange.energy.gov/.  Anyone interested in applying or invited
to submit a full application using this system should do the following:

1.       Register as an applicant

2.       When registered, access the FOA and click "apply"

3.       Complete and upload the required documents

4.       Leslie Tolbert should be added as the Business Point of Contact

5.       Add New Submission Editor.  Add Leslie Tolbert at
sponsor at email.arizona.edu 

6.       Sponsored Projects will submit the proposal in the EERE system.
Please notify Sponsored Projects when the proposal is ready for submission.

Most of the deadlines for these programs have a 5:00 PM Eastern Time
deadline, or 2:00 PM Tucson time.  The proposals need to be ready for
submission three days prior to the deadline.  This system is new to us, so
we need time to correct any errors and deal with system issues.  Please see
the 3 Day Proposal Policy at:

The EERE eEXCHANGE is also used for Pre-Applications and Concept Papers.
Since no detailed budget information is required, the department or PI can
submit the Pre-Application or Concept Paper.  Please call Sponsored Projects
Preaward with any questions.
