[Plsfaculty] Graduate Student Funding and Contracts for FY12

Hello All,

 

Joy will be contacting the faculty this week in order to obtain the funding
information for your graduate students for the upcoming year.   She will
need your  commitment to fund the students via email as well as project the
project or account number you wish to fund their salaries.   At this time,
the ERE rates for the Graduate Students stipend have not been determined.
But, it will be between 37.7% and 42.6%.    We were just informed yesterday,
that the fiscal (non-TA) contracts need to be completed and processed by May
27, 2011.

 

Also, no determination or offers have been made to students for Teaching
Assistantships from the School of Plant Sciences for next Academic Year.
Dr. Larkins and I will be meeting this week to discuss those positions.
