[Plsfaculty] Spring Semester 2012 Curriculum

Greetings Everyone,

 

I know we just finished the Spring semester 2011, but we need to put our
classes in the Schedule of Classes for Spring 2012.  If you are teaching in
the Spring of 2012, please keep reading.  This is important since I need to
have this in the system toward the end of May.

 

1.        Please see the attachment.

2.       Is your courses listed?  If not let me know.

3.       Courses like Dissertation where there are multiple faculty each
with different sections, I just listed as TBA for now.

4.       If I wasn't sure of the instructor, like for Advanced Mycology, I
just put it as TBA, but please let me know if you are the instructor.

5.       Is the time correct?  If not let me know.

6.       We have to put in a number of students, is it correct?  Is it in
the ballpark?

7.       The classroom is the same as last year, but if you have a classroom
you would like to request, let me know.

8.       Finally, courses that are cross-listed are now a bit of a problem.
The problem is who is responsible for scheduling them.  For instance, Pl P
428, Microbial Genetics, is listed under Pl P, Pl S, ECOL, MIC, SWES and Vs
C.  Two year ago SWES did the scheduling, last year Vet Sci did the
scheduling.  This next offering, Spring 2012, David Baltrus will be the
instructor, but it is unclear who will be doing the scheduling, so it is not
listed at the moment.  David, contact me and we can work together on this
one.
