[Plsfaculty] FW: Issues with month-end close in UAccess Financials

Hello All,

 

Please note the email below from the UA Financial Services Office, as
indicated November was to close tonight so that we could not reconciling the
accounts.  That is not going to happen.    Every weekend in November, I have
been balancing the accounts for October, and every weekend the system has  a
different report but more importantly a different balance on the accounts.

 

As it is too busy during the week to balance the accounts, I do it on the
weekend.   I will send the October statements this weekend then the November
statement next weekend.

 

We all must be patience with this new system, I know the Financial Services
Office is working on improvements to UAccess so that it is more user
friendly but more than that, to have the ability to reconcile accounts
(which was not a goal during the first stages of go live in October of this
year.)

There were some issues with month-end close in UAccess Financials.  Due to
these issues, please do not attempt to reconcile your accounts for the month
of November until Monday December 5th, 2011.  We are working to resolve the
issues and hope to have them completed this evening.
