Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to issue an invitation for faculty and post-graduate
instructional staff to join me in establishing an innovative learning
community focused on undergraduate curriculum. Participants will focus on
their own questions related to their disciplinary curricula, coming together
regularly to talk about common issues and strategies that could help us to
make a critical examination of our curricula and to evaluate the impact of
curricular changes. I am particularly interested in putting together a group
that spans several disciplines so that we can leverage the different
approaches and expertise represented across campus.
The Office of Instruction and Assessment will provide intellectual and
infrastructural support to help us pursue the questions we identify as
important to our respective disciplines, and participants will receive $500
support.

For me, leadership is a shared responsibility for creating a better
world in which to live and work. It is manifested in our passion to
engage others in bringing about purposeful change.
