We are working with Regent Myers to draft an op-ed on the importance of
research.  For this piece, he would like to focus less on the economic
impacts of research and more on the real-life impact research has on both
students and citizens.  From each university, he would like to cite an
example of an undergraduate student whose research experience is benefitting
his/her personal instruction and career-readiness and also how that research
is impacting Arizonans, through job-creation, real world problem-solving,
etc.
