On Behalf of Dr. Ramin Yadegari:
Dear colleagues,
In addition to recruiting PhD students directly into the PLS/PLP graduate
programs, the School of Plant Sciences now recruits students through the new
Arizona Biological and Biomedical Sciences (ABBS) program, which integrates
recruiting, admissions and the first-year program for five PhD programs in
biological and biomedical sciences. Students are admitted to the ABBS
program with no formal commitment to a particular Ph.D program. Students are
free to rotate in laboratories of faculty associated with any of the
programs, providing maximum flexibility for students to explore a variety of
research areas. At the end of the rotation period, students will matriculate
into one of the five graduate programs based upon their interests and the
laboratory that they enter. Please visit the ABBS program website for
additional information about the unified admission program
http://abbs.arizona.edu.
Students will be invited to visit campus on January 28 & 29 or February 11
& 12.
For any questions regarding this program, please feel free to contact me.
Ramin Yadegari
