Hi Grad Advisors -

Don't forget that you need to submit your grades for your grad students in
the new UAccess system, too.
Even if you are not teaching a "formal" course, this is the method for
submitting your Thesis and Dissertation grades.

My email yesterday, which is inserted below, gives directions and hints.
Thanks.

Subject: Important Grading Information

There has been some confusion with the new UAccess grading process. First
of all, I'd like to strongly recommend that you view the grading tutorials.

Go to http://www.uits.arizona.edu/workshops/workshop_detail?view=207 and
view:

o ENTERING GRADES IN THE GRADE ROSTER
o SUBMITTING AND POSTING GRADES

This will take less than ten minutes and you will have all the information
you need to successfully post your final grades.

If you plan to try it without watching the tutorials, or if you have already
submitted your grades, please note the following errors that are occurring.

*	After logging into the Instructor Center, go to "My Schedule" first.
This will allow you to select a grade roster for a specific course. Screen
shots and more detailed instructions can be found here:
http://registrar.arizona.edu/sites/default/files/Instructor%20Login_2.pps .

*	There are three final steps in order to post your grades. Some
people have entered their grades, but not completed the final step to post
them to the student's permanent record. The steps are:
*	Select Approved if all grades have been entered and you are
authorized to post grades.
*	Click Save
*	You will then have to click the Post button at the bottom of the
screen. (The Post button does not appear until after you Approve and Save.)

	Instructor Prep final posting steps

o After you click the "Post" button, the grades from the "Roster Grade"
column will appear in the "Official Grade" column and they will immediately
be available to students to see in UAccess.

*	The "Notify Registrar" button at the bottom of the grade roster
functions like the "Comments" option in Webroster. This should only be used
to notify the Registrar of problems with your class list or grades that were
previously submitted. It should not be used to list students and the grades
they received or to tell us that you have submitted your grades.

If you'd like additional help, we are holding an open lab in the afternoons.
Drop in any time.

Dates: Monday through Friday, May 10 - May 14
Time: 3pm to 5pm
Location: Integrated Learning Center, Room 112A (computer lab next to
the entrance to the Information Commons and Main Library)

Thank you for you patience as we all get up to speed with our new system.
