Not sure how to tell everyone this, but I got this a few minutes ago. This
happened at about 2 pm today. I am just in shock.

Chair of the Faculty Howell apologizes for the impersonal nature of this
email, and has asked me to notify the Committee of Eleven of the unexpected
death of one of our most beloved and esteemed faculty leaders, Dr. Michael
A. Cusanovich. 
 
We only know that he suffered a heart attack today, April 12. 
 
We will make you aware of arrangements as they become known to us.
