Hello All,

 

Please be advised of the new regulation regarding employment documents for
new hires that are on J1 visas.

Ginger,

There is a new requirement for J1 student employees, "effective yesterday",

please inform your departments. 

 

J1 new hires and re-hires student employees, now require an Employment

Authorization Form, that is signed by a representative from International

Student Programs and Services (ISPS), along with the DS-2019.

This also pertains to any J1 reverifications, Section 3, of the Form I-9,

that is sent to us.

 

If you or any of your department have any questions, about this requirement,

please contact ISPS. Their number is on the form.
