Dear SPLS community,

Our business office team asked that several reminders be shared with our unit. These were mentioned briefly at the retreat, with the note that I'd send out an email to everyone after the retreat with the full text of the reminders. Please see them below.

Questions can go to Tammy and Jen, and you're welcome to CC me. Kevin will be on leave until late June; Jen, Tammy, and I are the points of contact as we close out the fiscal year.

• Inventory: ongoing; finance/operations professionals are scheduling

• Key inventory: watch for emails from Dave Romens and respond promptly please

• Summer supplemental compensation requests: closed at this time

• Purchase orders for this fiscal year: closed at this time. Please submit all invoices May 27 for processing.

• REMINDER: Purchasing freeze effective June 15th. For the June 16 – June 30 window, PCards (except for Travel) will be decommissioned, and AZ Buyways will be decommissioned. Please be proactive and make purchases now. Requests for Exceptions during this period should be sent to the business office (DBSTeam2 at arizona.edu<mailto:DBSTeam2 at arizona.edu>)

• Travel & Expense Transformation: we will hear more from the Business Office. We'll be notified about new cards promptly, and then will have 2 ½ weeks to complete required training. Please add your business office contact (e.g., Brand, Bonnie, Tyler) as your delegate to assist with ordering your card as needed.  Card types will include: ProCard (aka Department Card) can be checked out to make purchases of goods and services - no travel. One Card for cardholder’s travel and non-employee travel. Travel Card for cardholder’s travel and minor purchases. Other cards: Anthony Travel Ghost Card, Virtual (DV) Card. Concur trainings will be available over the next few weeks - please stay tuned.
