[Plantsci] Hiring Updates

Hi everyone,
Just a quick heads-up to please plan ahead when hiring new employees. Since E‑Verify is now being handled by an outside vendor, the hiring process may take up to two weeks longer than it used to.
This means total hiring timelines have increased. For example, student employees could take around 3–4 weeks from start to finish before they’re fully hired and ready to begin work.
To avoid any last-minute issues, we recommend:


  *   Submitting hiring requests as early as possible
  *   Building extra time into start dates
  *   Keeping these delays in mind when hiring students or for time‑sensitive needs
