[Plantsci] SPLS: Our new academic year, and open house in Forbes 303

Dear SPLS community,

To all returning for our new academic year, and to all continuing as we start another busy fall semester — welcome! I hope that everyone had a rewarding and restorative summer. From members of our School, I've already heard good news on many fronts: awards, conferences, papers accepted, courses designed, students graduated, innovations through Extension...as well as family travel, time for reflection, personal accomplishments, and more. I appreciate the good news all around.

Today, to mark the start of the academic year and to celebrate all we do in instruction in its many forms, all in our School are invited come by our SPLS office for bagels, muffins, fruit, coffee, tea, and a friendly hello. The door is open at Forbes 303, and the coffee is ready. 🙂
