[Plantsci] Nominating seminar speakers for the 2025 SPLS seminar series

Dear All,



The Seminar Committee is currently scheduling speakers for the Spring and Fall semesters of 2025. Due to the current fiscal situation at the university, we are highlighting our local talent and speakers who are scheduled to visit Tucson during this period.



If you know someone who is a good candidate for the SPLS seminar series in 2025, please nominate them. We need all your help to make it successful. Below are the categories of speaker candidates we are looking for:

  1.  SPLS graduate students who are planning to present a seminar next year as part of their degree requirements.
  2.  Colleagues visiting Tucson in 2025.
  3.  Colleagues at UA or those who work in industries in Tucson and surrounding areas.
  4.  Postdoctoral researchers in SPLS.
  5.  Work-life balance/instructional speakers from UA


Graduate students will have the first choice of their preferred dates. All other candidates will be reviewed and approved by the Seminar Committee. Once your candidate is approved, you may contact them to secure a seminar date.
