we are highlighting our local talent and speakers who are scheduled to visit Tucson during this period.</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 11pt;">If you know someone who is a good candidate for the SPLS seminar series in 2025, please nominate them. We need all your help to make it successful. Below are the categories of speaker candidates we are looking for: </span></p>

<li style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; margin: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">SPLS graduate students who are planning to present a seminar next year as part of their degree requirements.</span></li><li style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; margin: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Colleagues visiting Tucson in 2025.</span></li><li style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; margin: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Colleagues at UA or those who work in industries in Tucson and surrounding areas.</span></li><li style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; margin: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Postdoctoral researchers in SPLS.</span></li><li style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; margin: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Work-life balance/instructional speakers from UA</span></li></ol>
