[Plantsci] ACTION REQUIRED! Emails being held up by new security protocol

Hello everyone,

UITS implemented a new inbound email flow (Mimecast) for all @arizona.edu<http://arizona.edu/> email accounts. The goal is to increase security by automatically filtering and flagging emails as malicious or spam.  This has, however, led to many legitimate emails being incorrectly flagged and not being allowed to reach the recipient's inbox.

For your personal email account, you will need to take action to identify any emails that have been blocked from your inbox and choose to release them. There are currently no notifications if any email is held up.

To find out if you have any emails you are not receiving please access this website.

* Log in with your UA email and password.
* Select 'Mimecast Personal Portal'
* Look through a list of blocked emails.
* To release any incorrectly blocked emails
o Select the email by checking the box
o Use the thumbs up button at the top right.

o Choose the most appropriate option in the drop. To allow any future messages from anyone using the same email domain select 'Release Message and Permit Domain'
