[Plantsci] Change in HR processes, and best wishes to Lizeth Enriquez

Dear SPLS community,

With the University's centralization process for Human Resouces, our unit is among those all across campus undergoing change with respect to HR staffing.

The SPLS business office and I were notified yesterday afternoon that Monday, Aug. 26, will be Lizeth's last day in the office. Her responsibilities are now focused entirely within HR, and she will no longer be active in the day-to-day operations in our unit.

Please join me in thanking Lizeth for her work. We wish her the best in her new role.

At this time, we – like those in other units – are directed to do the following for HR concerns:

By clicking on the link, you'll see the information that is needed.

This is where to go for DCC requests, etc. Again, by clicking through, you can see the information that is needed. Please reach out if you're struggling. This link also supports these changes in building / room assignments, phonebook records, FTE, preferred name, supervisor/time approver change, etc.

We are advised that HR timelines may be longer than we are used to, so please plan ahead. Please think about how to advance your program given these changes, and how I can help - I am happy to chat at any time. We are fortunate to have the outstanding team of Kevin and Jen to help us as we navigate a landscape that is new to all of us.
