Good Evening Division,
I have a critical message regarding a significant change to our University IT Systems. Starting this Friday (7/8) at 6pm, UITS will work through the weekend to make several changes that will impact you.
Office 365 (Outlook/Teams), Google Drive, Adobe Acrobat/Creative Cloud, Box Drive, and several other online tools will require you to re-sign in using a new login email address, netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu>.
When you re-sign in and are asked for a login email address, you will no longer use netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu> but instead, use netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu> (without "email.").
Outlook, Teams, Box Drive, Zoom, and Adobe Acrobat/Creative Cloud will actively prompt you to log in sometime over this weekend. This behavior will feel similar to the login prompts over the June 8th weekend.

Logins that ask for an email address will require a netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu> email address.
Other services and online tools that use WebAuth will continue to work with just your NetID, not your full email address.

WebAuth logins will continue to just use your netid, not a full email address.
UA Email, UAccess, D2L, Box, and other critical systems will have degraded availability and performance throughout this weekend. Email delivery is expected to be delayed. If you are hosting a Zoom meeting this weekend, please reach out to your departmental cyber professional about log in options. In general, UITS is discouraging users from working over the weekend, if possible.
After this weekend, UITS will have completely phased out netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu> across campus.

*       Existing file/folder shares in Box, Teams, Google Drive will continue to work. No action needed.

*       Existing scheduled meetings in Zoom will continue to work. No action needed.

*       Sharing new files/folders via Box, Google, Teams, and OneDrive will require you to share to recipients via netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu>.

*       Adobe Sign signature routing requests will require netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu>.

*       Existing files/folders shared from Microsoft OneDrive will require you to re-share (you will receive a separate instructional email from UITS if you are impacted by this).

*       Students and retirees will be folded into the @arizona.edu email address domain.
