Dear Colleagues,
University Information Technology Services is conducting a significant IT system upgrade starting Friday, July 8, at 6 p.m. through Sunday, July 10, at 7 p.m. During this maintenance window, campus IT systems will experience disruptions and degraded performance. Learn more about specific system availability<https://click.comms.arizona.edu/?qs=31065dbafd6d5d6b9d5ca11fd51c6fe0f131b145b19fb36b2cc566ce03d6611bacb3b9df50515face5e38b82de45b160aa33ce1878b9deee0e75de31057105e3>.
Starting Monday, July 11:
* Use your netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu> address (instead of netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu>) to log in to University services that require an email address. Please allow yourself extra time to log in to University IT systems after the upgrade.
* This applies to University accounts for Microsoft Office, Google and Adobe, as well as collaboration tools such as Box and Zoom.
* If your email address is prefilled with netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu>, select "Sign in with another account."
* No changes will occur with third-party services (not requiring University Single Sign-On) that use your netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu> address. You will continue to receive messages sent to netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu>.
* Student email – called CatMail – will send from netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu>, instead of netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu>. Students will continue to receive emails sent to netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu>.
