[Plantsci] Changes to Parental Leave

Good morning SPLS-

Although there was no formal announcement, the changes to UArizona parental leave policy that were previously discussed are now in effect:

·         Increase paid parental leave from 6 weeks to 12 weeks

·         An additional 12 weeks allowed using accrued time off or unpaid leave.

We have not been given any additional guidance, but the leave coordinators with HR are now working under these guidelines, and I wanted to be sure all employees were aware of the changes.
