Dear supervisors,

In follow-up to the COVID-19 vaccination message<https://click.comms.arizona.edu/?qs=fc499a21299f29960387fe3b4455d1d7d23717bd740c0983ac90fff570a3ad0da917933b0241d89e71604bdfdbd887b068efc57c318374d2> today from President Robbins, we'd like to take a moment to highlight key information. As we develop more materials and guidance, we are also requesting your assistance in sharing with us the questions you are receiving and the topics on which you would like more information. Thank you for your patience. The vaccination plans have been moving rapidly, and we will provide more direction when possible.

What you need to know

  *   All University of Arizona faculty, staff, campus affiliates and associates, graduate assistants and associates, and student workers are currently eligible to receive the vaccine.
  *   The distribution plan and eligibility phases for the vaccine are being managed by individual counties and the State of Arizona. Please direct employees to the Arizona Department of Health Services website<https://click.comms.arizona.edu/?qs=fc499a21299f2996efe61a0368245fef4a4be8776a86d1877e1e1e0a0464738f8b60e95fd9a029a635ff5695fdf1ad183bdccd5f27f3c5a1> for information.
  *   Vaccines do not change the University’s current return to workspace plans or expectations<https://click.comms.arizona.edu/?qs=fc499a21299f299643e2260f35145a782d288f2f0ebd237c86444267feb1f6cf0146742cf0ac00f4133ffa63fc1866a3006056257dfe797f>. Whether or not employees receive a vaccination should not affect existing work agreements or timelines. Even after full vaccination (2 doses), it is still important to continue to wear a face covering and practice physical distancing.
