[Plantsci] UA Cares Campaign Starts TODAY!

Hello All:

UA Cares Campaign starts October 1st and runs through November 6th! Things will be a little different due to current circumstances, however some of the same opportunities exist:

  *   UA Cares website: good for all up-to-date events and opportunities, https://uacares.arizona.edu/
  *   Days of Caring through United Way: Deadline to register for this is Tuesday, October 20th
     *   View all available projects and register: https://daysofcaring.goldenvolunteer.com/
     *   Due to COVID-19, all projects must adhere to specific safety guidelines. A list of new guidelines can be found here: https://www.unitedwaytucson.org/daysofcaring<https://www.unitedwaytucson.org/daysofcaring?fbclid=IwAR3gfo4P_WYI9hRoIeY4awzvgyNFSf0jZt_My5gfJhy349c8iYevlZaTTZ8>
     *   New DIY Projects available for Days of Caring! Several options available that you can complete at home or in your own neighborhood. These projects can be scheduled at a time that works best for you and your family/friends. Don't forget to sign up for this option to be counted in the UAs volunteer totals!

  *   Support University programs: Can donate through University of Arizona Foundation, https://uafoundation.org/
  *   Support local Nonprofit Organizations: through United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, https://uacares.arizona.edu/sites/default/files/uacares_topdonatedagencies.pdf
  *   Donate online through UAccess Employee-UA Cares tile on the employee homepage: https://uaccess.arizona.edu/
  *   Campus Pantry Drive-Through Collection: The Campus Pantry is hosting a Donation Drive-Through in the Student Union Memorial Center Union Circle on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, https://campuspantry.arizona.edu/
