Attention:
With Winter Closure coming up in a week, I want to make sure you all are aware of some important items:
* All benefits eligible employees will receive University Winter Closure<https://hr.arizona.edu/employees-affiliates/leaves/university-winter-closure> paid time off for December 23, 26, 27, 30, 31 and Holiday<https://hr.arizona.edu/sites/default/files/Holidays_2019-2024.pdf> paid time off for December 24, 25 and January 1. This time has already been pre-populated in the timesheet and approved.
* If a benefits eligible employee will work during the closure/holidays, you would:
* Hourly/Non-Exempt: put the hours you worked for that day, delete the Closure/Holiday hours already entered, submit your time.
* Salary/Exempt: delete the Closure/Holiday hours already entered, put 1.0 PAW, submit your time
* It is up to you and your supervisor to ensure you use the closure/holiday days off at a mutually convenient time before the end of the fiscal year (June 30). At that time you would enter University Winter Closure or Holiday as the time reporting code, then add a comment explaining why the time is taken then.
* Payroll: All payroll for the pay period December 16 – December 29th is due December 17th no later than 5pm.
* If you are hourly/non-exempt employee, please ensure you work with your supervisor to enter your estimated work time during this pay period and submit before the deadline
* If the estimated hours are not worked, time can be modified after the fact and the pay difference will be taken on the next Jan. 17th paycheck
* Please work with Amanda Stevens on any issues or questions
* The University is closed December 23rd through January 1st, this would include buildings. Please ensure you have building access if you intend to work. Your supervisor may request the access using the SPLS Ticket<http://www.splshelp.arizona.edu/> system.
* Supervisors, please ensure your employees are aware of all this information. Print/Post this email if needed😊.
If you have any questions please ask your supervisor, Amanda Stevens, or myself.
