Subject: Changes to loaded Holiday and University Closure time
The Financial Services Office is pleased to announce that beginning with the Labor Day holiday on September 2, 2019, all holiday and University closure time that is loaded by the University to employee timesheets will be done as approved time. This improvement to the payroll process was driven by our efforts to improve efficiency and streamline the payroll review and approval process.
Employees and supervisors should review all loaded time and make appropriate changes before the end of the payroll cycle. If corrections are not made within the cycle, employees may be paid incorrectly.
If an employee should be receiving holiday and/or University closure time and the time was not loaded, the employee and supervisor are responsible for adding and approving the missing time to the employee's timesheet.
