[netdiscuss] New phishing scam on Tax Day
Good morning everyone,
We continue to see a high number of phishing emails, and the latest one is troubling, as the sender did some "homework" in order to fool recipients. You can see the text of the email at hxxp://security.arizona.edu/phishing-alerts/41816-w-2-notification (copy and paste the URL, and replace "hxxp" with "http").
The sender claims to be from the University of Arizona, and the URL contains "fso," "arizona.edu," and "uaccess," so this could fool recipients into clicking on the link. When you hover over the link, it is quite different.
Please share this information with your units.
Thank you!
Teresa
