[Plantsci] MPLS cutover for Bldg. 36 Forbes.

UITS Is upgrading the Firewall in the FORBES BUILDING starting at 6 AM this Thursday it will take about 20 minutes, during this time you will not be able to connect to the servers from outside of FORBES

Once the upgrade is done the network should be back to normal
If there are any issues I will let all of you know

Hello all - the information below from Tod is an announcement of an upgrade to our firewall in this building next Thursday that will entail about a 20 minute outage at 6 AM.  All mail and access to the ag server will be cut off at that time (except for those IN the building.)  Please bear with this - this is a good thing for our security going forward.

We are looking to cut over the Forbes building to MPLS on Thursday at 6:00am (6/13).   We will be working in the building for about an hour.  The building will not be down for that amount of time.  The building will probably be down for between 15-20 min between 6:00 am and 6:20 am.    Please let me know if this time doesn't work for you and we will work on a different time to do the cutover. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and we will do our best to answer them.  Please pass this info on to any other members of your team that need to be notified.
