Subject: New UAConnect Email for New Employees - 5/4

In preparation of the upcoming UAConnect Email migration taking place on May
19-20, all new employee email accounts will be created in the UAConnect
on-campus system rather than on the current UAConnect BPOS system starting
Friday, May 4. Additionally, requests for UAConnect accounts for student
workers and DSVs will also be fulfilled with accounts on the new system.

This means new employees may not be on the same email system as co-workers
until the migration is complete May 21. New employees will be able to invite
co-workers to meetings but will be unable to see Free/Busy time or share
calendars until the migration is complete May 21.

We ask that requests to change NetIDs not be submitted until the UAConnect
Email migration concludes. Changes to NetIDs or Personnel Action Form
information such as phone, job title, etc., will not be reflected in the
UAConnect system between May 4 and May 21.

More information about UAConnect is available at:
