> RE: New Interim Policy for International Travel Safety and Compliance – DELAYED EFFECTIVE DATE
>
> An initiative has been underway for some time to adopt and implement a new Interim Policy for International Travel Safety and Compliance, and an online international travel registration portal. The new Interim Policy and website were originally planned to become effective on April 1, 2012. However, the implementation team is continuing to develop and test the workflow processes that will be a key part of this new program. For this reason, the effective date of the new Interim Policy and use of the online portal are being deferred until May 1, 2012.
>
> An announcement notification to the campus community will be distributed prior to the new effective date and Interim Policy. Those making arrangements for university business travel should continue to complete the existing Travel Authorization form in accordance with existing policy and procedure.
