Hello All,

 

Please note the changes to purchasing at the UABookstores.  You will not be
able to purchase any items by just supplying the UA account number.   The
two methods of payment are P-CARD and the Bookstores Service Billing which
needs to be signed by me as I am the Fiscal Officer for the School of Plant
Sciences.   Joy Rogers-Caron can also sign this form if I am not available.

Re:         Elimination of UA Bookstores Blanket Section

Effective September 1, 2012, the UA Bookstores will no longer be a Stores
Blanket Vendor. There will be two payment methods available for departments
to make UA Bookstores purchases:

1.       PCard

2.       Bookstores Service Billing Form (http://uabis.arizona.edu/eforms/)

By offering these two purchasing methods and eliminating the Stores Blanket
at the UA Bookstores, departments will realize an immediate cost savings.
Currently, Procurement charges departments an additional 2% mark-up when
using the Stores Blanket Section at UA Bookstores. Both purchasing methods
mentioned above are easy to use and effective.  When using the Bookstores
Service Billing, you must have the form signed by an account delegate
referenced in UAccess.  The BookStore Service Billing form must be presented
at the time of the purchase and must include the correct 7 digit account
number(s) and current object code(s) so that the correct accounts will be
charged.  Departments should retain their own copy.

Please note that the Stores Blanket Section will not be closing; only the UA
Bookstores Store Blanket is closing.  All other Store Blanket Section
vendors will remain open and available to the Campus Community. For a
