Re: Stores Ordering for Sequencing Primers
The Stores Inventory section of Procurement and Contracting Services will no
longer be offering the option of ordering "sequencing primers" off of the
Stores web site from Sigma, Operon (Fisher) or IDT. You can order through
Arizona BuyWays for your Sigma and Operon (Fisher) primers and you will have
to order direct from the vendor for the IDT primers using your PCard.
Additionally, the BIO5 Media Facility offers consistently high-quality
research materials at significant cost savings. As the only Good Laboratory
Practices (GLP-certified) media facility on campus, the BIO5 Media Facility
offers microbiological media, buffers, plant tissue culture media, and cell
culture media and custom formulations specific to your research needs.
Rapid fulfillment of orders and high quality products can help you improve
efficiency, strengthen grant applications and fulfillment, and move to
patents faster.
To learn more about these services, please visit their website at:
<http://bio5.org/faculty/research-services/cores/media-facilities>
http://bio5.org/faculty/research-services/cores/media-facilities . They
have a Convenience Refrigerator, located on the Keating building ground
floor that can be accessed 24/7 and is stocked with commonly-used media.
Look for BIO5 on Arizona BuyWays following the Kuali migration in October
2011.
If you have any questions about BIO5 contact Dena Yoder at
<mailto:dyoder at bio5.org> dyoder at bio5.org or 626-3098.
If you have any questions about the Sigma, Operon (Fisher) or IDT ordering
method please contact the Stores department at 621-7975.
