ON CAMPUS INTERVIEWS OF CANDIDATES FOR CALS ASSOCIATE DEAN AND DIRECTOR OF
COOPERATIVE EXTENSION
Submitted by: Colin Kaltenbach, Chair of the Search Committee
The search committee for the CALS Associate Dean and Director of Cooperative
Extension is pleased to announce the interview schedule for four outstanding
candidates. These candidates will be visiting campus in Tucson on one day
and then either the Maricopa Ag Center or Phoenix on a second day. We
encourage you to participate in one or more of their open forums (schedule
is below) as we will be seeking input from the broader CALS and statewide
community. Final schedules and information on how to provide input will be
provided soon.
Each candidate will meet with multiple groups during the visit and on the
first day they will give a 20 minute presentation on "Where do you see
Cooperative Extension in 10 years and how will we get there?" followed by
at least an hour of questions from the audience. These presentations will be
made available online and videotaped. There will be a process for asking
online questions.
