*****Important UAccess Time & Labor System Outage Information.*****

 

 

System Unavailability: UAccess Employee and UAccess Student systems will not be available from 5:00 pm, Friday, July 15 through 6:00 am, Monday, July 18, 2011.

·         Employees will be unable to report their time in UAccess after 6:00 am on Monday July 18, 2011. Please make sure that you work with your employees to ensure that time is reported correctly.

·         If your department uses Web Clock, please be aware that only Supervisors will be able to enter the time for employees on Monday morning, for any hours worked Friday 5:00 pm to 5:59 am Monday. Departments will need to work with their employees to ensure that the employee records their time with their supervisor correctly.

 

Why: PeopleTools Upgrade - The software tools used to create and maintain the UAccess Employee and Student applications will be upgraded.

 

Other Systems Affected: UAccess Analytics - The PeopleSoft Tools upgrade will disrupt the normal data refreshes of the UAccess Analytics data warehouse, primarily affecting HR data.  

 

Between Friday, July 15 and Monday, July 18, Employee Data in UAccess Analytics will be current as of Thursday, July 14. Student and Research data will be refreshed over the weekend as normal, barring any unforeseen circumstances.  All data will be refreshed and available as usual on Tuesday, July 19.

 

 

Impact to Users: There are no business process changes in this upgrade.  This upgrade will bring a new menu structure and new navigation.  This upgrade will not impact the Student Center or Instructor Center.

 

The following browsers, listed by operating systems, will provide the optimal experience in UAccess Employee and UAccess Student.

 

·         Windows XP - Firefox 3.5

·         Windows Vista/Win7 - IE 8 and Firefox 3.5

·         Mac - Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5
