System: FRS- Purchase Orders

Message: Departmental FRS PO Clean Up

In order to facilitate a smooth Purchase Order Conversion from FRS to
UAccess Financials, we are encouraging departments to review their FRS
Purchase Orders.

Please review screen 228 on any of your Purchase Orders in FRS.  For
example, on screen 228, enter code '0' and your PO number  'Pxxxxxx', then
hit  enter to view.   If the amount on each line is not fully paid and the
invoice indicator is blank or 'P' (partially paid) we will be converting the
line.  

The PO conversion will encumber the remaining balance on open lines
regardless of the encumbrance shown on screen 21.  To ensure only your
valid, current Purchase Orders are converted; please send PACS a request for
deletion on any Purchase Orders that you do not want to be converted.

To request the deletion of a Purchase Order, please email a list of Purchase
Orders to Lucy Soriano at soriano at u.arizona.edu .  The deadline to request a
PO deletion is Friday, Sept 16, 2011.
