Dear all,
Indeed, in addition to the section with declarations by pastoralists, we have decided to include also a section with “Inter-governmental & Inter-agency Declarations on Rangelands & Pastoralism" - see https://iyrp.info/resources/front <https://iyrp.info/resources/front>
Please let us know about additional inter-governmental and inter-agency declarations on rangelands & pastoralism made at regional or global level. We are not including national declarations but those could be added to the regional pages of the IYRP website if the Regional IYRP Support Groups (RISGs) would like to take on this task.
All of the work thus far in the IYRP alliance is voluntary, and there is a limit to what we in the Global Secretariat of the IYRP alliance can do, so we count on the regional and now-emerging national IYRP groups to share the tasks.
And speaking of emerging national IYRP groups, here is an example from the IYRP group in Germany of their aims, demands and narratives for IYRP2026: https://iyrp.info/sites/iyrp.org/files/German%20IYRP%20Group%20aims_demands.pdf <https://iyrp.info/sites/iyrp.org/files/German%20IYRP%20Group%20aims_demands.pdf> News from other new national IYRP groups is welcome!
We look forward to hearing from you all about activities being planned in the different regions, so that we can include these in another new section on the website that we are developing to show IYRP-related events in 2025 and 2026 - to keep everyone else informed.
Cheers,
Ann

Especially in this case, it would be interesting to monitor the extent to which these multi-government declarations led to implementation?
