> We/ILRI have  a small amount of money to develop an improved cost-benefit analysis framework for land use change decision-making in rangelands building on what Roy Behnke and Carol Kerven used in their famous Awash River study. We will employ an environmental economist to do the main work, but want to set up a small voluntary advisory group to provide advice/guidance to the process.  We would like to find two pastoralists or pastoral representatives/supporters with their feet on the ground to be members of this advisory group. We anticipate that the analysis framework will be first piloted in East and West Africa – so would be particularly happy to see representation from these areas.
