[IYRPsupportgroup] URGENT Review please: DRAFT IYRP Action Plan as requested by GoM

Dear friends of IYRP

In the last ISG meeting of 18 March, Munkhnasan conveyed the request from
the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) for the ISG to prepare a
DRAFT Action Plan prior to UNGA 2021, particularly focusing on
indicative activities and financing. We agreed and here is the FIRST
attempt. The  urgency of the matter means that the longer participatory
strategy that we had hoped for (i.e. that the RISGs would create their
Action Plans and then those would be consolidated into a global Action Plan
- participatory and bottom up!) needs to be fast tracked. But once the IYRP
is declared, we will have a chance to come back to this and revise it,
including during the Joint IGC/IRC Congress in October 2021.

I have researched all the 160+ support letters and commitment letters we
have received so far, the UNEA resolutions, FAO COAG report, Mongolian
proposal, Pastoralist Declarations and Statements, etc etc, and came up
with the attached. It is meant to complement the IYRP Global Flyer (that
sets out the justification and goals) rather than replace it. Could you
please help by filling in some missing information (see yellow highlights)
and verifying or updating as needed?

RISG Chairs are welcome to share it with their members.
