[IYRPsupportgroup] Join the social media campaign - International Year for Rangelands and Pastoralists

Dear All,

As you know the proposal for International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists will be voted by FAO member countries next week on 1 Oct at the 27th COAG meeting in Rome. 

Therefore we are launching a small social media campaign promoting IYRP and newly developed IYRP online booth and targeting specifically the representatives or ambassadors of the FAO member countries. We will share 3 messages on Twitter until the voting take place. Paying for it, these will be purchased tweets targeting the city of Rome in which the embassies are located. Additionally these messages will be shared multiple times with tagging the tweeter accounts of the ambassadors/representatives or embassies (at each time max. 10 accounts can be tagged). Our target is to reach every single ambassador / representative that will be attending the meeting and voting on behalf of their countries.

These messages will also be promoted on Facebook, again with purchased advertisements targeting the geographical neighborhood at which the embassies are located in Rome.
