That's an interesting comment. In Eastern and Southern Africa initiatives
mushroom that combine income at the landscape scale from both ecotourism
and pastoralism, and there are some economic analyses. It's true that it
would be interesting to apply that angle to the huge birdwatching sector in
the Americas.
