[IYRPsupportgroup] Condensed version of notes on IYRP NSG/ISG meeting on 15 Oct

Dear all,

On 15 October, we had a joint meeting of the Mongolian National Support Group (NSG) and the International Support Group (ISG) for the International Year of Rangelands & Pastoralists (IYRP), first to celebrate its endorsement by the FAO Committee of Agriculture (COAG) earlier this month and secondly to plan next steps. There are 8 pages of singled-spaced detailed notes on the meeting, which were sent to the people who took part and are posted on the IYRP archival website under ISG (https://globalrangelands.org/international-year-rangelands-and-pastoralists-initiative). 

Now, for immediate reference by all in the ISG, we send this somewhat condensed version (3.5 pp). We hope to have it translated into some other languages so that you can share it more widely with others interested in the IYRP, but we did not want to wait for the translations before sending this out to you.
