Dears,
Could you please share the ideas raised in the letters, perhaps each of us can talk to local NGOs to make them support IYRP. But first it is better a set of activities that their sister institutions have shown.
Many thanks

Dear Ann and Maryam,
Many thanks for your information. This is really exciting news. I am very happy that organizations are supporting the initiative and updating their support letters. I shall use social media channels to spread the information.

Thank you so much Ann.
Allow me to also add an update : as of today, 15 non-governmental organizations and institutions that have previously sent Support Letters in 2019, have now sent new Letters giving more details on how they support rangelands and pastoralists and what they could do concretely to contribute to the IYRP, both before and during that year. Every continent is represented already. We are expecting another 7 soon. Thank you all!

Dear all,
For those of you who could not join the call we had on Monday, which involved members of the Mongolian National Support Group (NSG) for the IYRP and members of the ISG, here is a 2-page summary of what we discussed.
Barbara has already distributed more detailed minutes which include the action points. If you want the more detailed minutes, please ask Barbara for them.
You can extract whatever you want from this summary (which was given the OK by Hijaba) and adapt it for informing your networks. Hijaba and his Communications Officer Mandakh are distributing it also to the NSG members who could not join the call.
Cheers,
Ann
