Dear Colleagues

I am very pleased to inform you that the Joint IRC/IGC Congress in October
2020 has accepted our proposal for a Concurrent Panel on IYRP.

Much remains to be done before now and then. In my view here are some of
the actions we should take collectively (you may have more ideas):

1. finalize the agenda and details of the concurrent panel , including
budget if required

2. prepare a 4-page full paper to submit to the Congress

3. raise awareness and funds (where necessary) for the Concurrent Panel

4. develop a draft suggested IYRP Action Plan for review by the entire ISG
and to submit as a pre-Panel document

In light of this, I would like to request members from the IYRP ISG to
volunteer to be in a sub-group to undertake these tasks, including
leading/chairing the sub-group. Whether you are attending the Congress or
not, this is a chance to help shape the IYRP Action Plan for the Scientific
Community.
