[IYRPsupportgroup] Update on launch Decade of Family Farming

Dear all,

If you look at the Global Action Plan for the UN Decade of Family Farming (2019-28):

you will find that pastoralists are mentioned only in the repeated list of groups included under the term “family farmers”. There is no mention of action specific to rangelands or dryland areas.

Hopefully the UNDFF national committees in the countries with a large number of pastoralists will manage to get pastoralist-related actions into the plans and the implementation at that level.
