> The Dryland summer schools explore transformative approaches to building climate resilient dryland systems.
> This second edition is focused on monitoring drylands and agrosilvopastoral systems towards climate change and sustainability.
> Participants will graduate the course as experts on monitoring and integrating transformational sustainable practices in drylands agrosilvopastoral management!
>
> This edition is funded by UNCCD's G20 and held in partnership with different institutions and international organizations, including FAO, UNCCD's G20, CIFOR-ICRAF, WOCAT, IUCN, SLU, ARC, and the International Year on Rangelands and Pastoralists.
> There is no cost for the summer school itself, but participants will be expected to cover their flights and lodging in Kenya for the duration of the course. Some support could be available from international and national partners.
> Participants should have prior experience in dryland management and should complete FAO's e-Learning course on dryland forests and agrosilvopastoral systems before the Summer School begins. Also, we will ask each participant to bring one case study on drylands agrosilvopastoral management to work on it during the school
