[IYRP General List] Traditional Knowledge Forum at IRC2025

Dear all,

Here is information about the Traditional Knowledge Forum that will take place in Adelaide, Australia, just before the International Rangeland Congress (IRC) in mid-2025. This forum is being organised under the umbrella of the IYRP2026 alliance. 

As you can see in the attached flyer, the Forum has three components:

1) Trip to South Australian rangelands (2-3 days) in the week before the IRC2025; by invitation only
2) Pre-Forum meeting (Saturday 31 May) for traditional knowledge holders, including pastoralists; by invitation only 
3) Traditional Knowledge Forum (Sunday 1 June), open to all IRC2025 delegates

All participants in the Traditional Knowledge Forum need to register for the IRC2025. The IRC will also have two concurrent sessions about the IYRP2026 and a plenary forum of the IRC and the IYRP. There will also be a session on Women in Rangelands, involving primarily pastoralist women.
