[IYRP General List] IYRP Working Group on Climate Change

Dear IYRP colleagues,

Some members have voiced concern that there is no IYRP Working Group on
Climate Change, considering the global importance of the subject and the
opportunities to raise awareness about opportunities and threats for
rangelands and pastoralists.

Maryam has drafted the attached Conceptual Outline to help shape a new IYRP
Working Group. As with all the Working Groups, this will only be successful
if there is interest from among the IYRP network. However, the overall scope
and ambition of the working groups is variable and it will be determined by
the members according to the level of input they are willing to give.

If you are interested in joining the conversation about developing this new

We will welcome your feedback on the Conceptual Outline as well.
